Fernando Aguera

Passionate and highly qualified guitar teacher with over 19 years of experience ensuring that everyone can develop musical abilities. Fernando Aguera is also an award winner guitarist who loves to share the joy of Latin-American, Brazilian and Classical guitar music to the audiences.

Among his qualifications, he holds a Master in Music with Distinction from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (UK) and a PhD in Music from the UNICAMP – State University of Campinas (Brazil). 

Fernando is also a specialist in the Suzuki Method, which is known as “TALENT EDUCATION”. In this system, children learn how to play the guitar and to develop excellence from as early as 3 years old. As a side effect, it is a spontaneous and playful method that strength the relationship among parents and children.

Among his awards are the First prize in the Abergavenny Eisteddfod Competition, UK (2011) and Twice winner of The John Mills Guitar Prize, UK (2010 and 2011).
